The 2019 Fall meeting of the Florida Chapter of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine will be held at The Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront in St. Petersburg, FL. A welcome reception will be held on the evening of Thursday, September 26th at 6:00 PM followed by a full day of presentations on Friday, September 27th. Hotel Information:
FLAAPM group room rate is $119/night. Make reservations at the link below or over the phone prior to 9/4/19 by calling (800) 445-8667 to receive the group rate. Make sure to mention FLAAPM when reserving your room.

Hotel parking is not included and will be an additional $10 per day.


Sponsorship:

There is the opportunity to sponsor a meal or break, as well as the evening social event and audio/visual equipment. Sponsorship will include mention in the meeting agenda and certain sponsorships will include a brief (5 minute) educational presentation if desired. All sponsorships are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Continuing Education:

The meeting program will cover topics of radiation therapy, diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, or medical health physics. The meeting agenda will include two hours of medical errors CE credit and two hours of CE credits during the Thursday evening poster session.

 

FLAAPM has applied for CAMPEP accreditation of up to 9 medical physics CE credit hours and 9 hours from the state of FL.
